An alpine landscape with a Traveller at the mountain brook was created in 1884 by good-listed Austrian landscape painter Georg Geyer (1823 - Vienna - 1912). He was a pupil of Vienna Academy under Josef Moessmer, Franz Steinfeld and Thomas Ender. He frequently exhibited at the Exhibitions of the Academy and was adored for his perfect mountainous landscapes painted in the Austrian Alps.
