View of town Weissenkirchen in the Austrian pitoresque Wachau valley was executed in the first third of 20th century by famous Austrian landscape and theatre painter Konrad Petrides (1864-1944). He studied in Vienna and painted mainly views and landscapes, offten from Wachau, Tyrol and South Tyrol, exhibited his works at important exhibitions in Austria. Petrides was a member of Albrecht Duerer Society in Vienna.
