Small but fine Russian icon from 19th century in silver oklad. Depiction of Emperor Constantine and Saint Helena with the found cross of Christ, silver oklad with 84 zolotnik, silversmith B.C. 1888, Moscow.
Inscription: silver oklad with different stamps.
Technique: tempera on wood, oklad : silver, gilded with gold.
Measurements: total w.3 1/2” x h.4 1/3” (9 x 11,2 cm).
Condition: good, oklad needs cleaning.
