Still life with flowers, fireplace clock and antique porcelain was executed by Austrian still life painter Joder Schuster (1873 - Vienna-1945).
brother of the painter Karl Maria Schuster.
Studied as a guest from 1895 to 1897, then (with the help of numerous scholarships) as an auditor at the Academy of Fine Arts (1901 Special School Prize and 1902 Rosenbaum Prize). As a freelance painter, he continued the tradition and brushwork of the Old Viennese Masters. In 1933 he became a member of the "Kunstlerhaus" (joined the conservative "Gsur Group") and specialized in still lifes.
