Still life with flowers and fruits was executed by Antonore (Anthonie Eleonore) TSCHERNING-CHRISTENSEN, Danish female painter (1849 Copenhagen - 1926 Usseroed).
Daughter of the painter Eleonore Tscherning. Student of her mother and of Emma Thomsen and Otto Didrik Ottesen. Award: 1887 Neuhausen Prize for Kurv med afskårne blomster. Teaching painting, including for several members of the Danish. and Greek royal family. – One of the most productive flower painters of her time; preferred the natural one. Reproduction of wild flowers. Already in 1868 the Gal. (now: Statens Mus. for Kunst, Copenhagen) the picture Voksende anemoner.
