Panoramic view of Como Lake in North Italy with romantical village Bellaggio on the background. This work was executed in 1876 by Munich landscape painter Ferdinand Feldhütter ( 1842 Munich - 1898). Initially working as a decorative painter, folk singer and poet. Student of Julius Lange. Prizes: 1898 Gold-Med. in Barcelona (for game of Sachran). Feldhütter created Pre-Alpine and Alpine landscapes in late romance. View, above all as wide panoramas in the morning and evening mood with lowlands, lake-landscapes and the mountain world; detailed through side scenes and staffage in glazing technique. Bes. the light islands suggest depth of image in the compositions. In addition, location-specific topography: motif at the Achensee; Klösterl on Lake Walchen; Zell am See; Rest on the shores of Lake Chiemsee; Alpine valley with cows and distant weather horn; View from the hill on Tegernsee Abbey; Zillertal with farmers at harvest; Berchtesgaden in front of Watzmann massif.
