Impressionistic busy market scene in Naples with far view of Vesuvius was executed on the turn of 20th century by very well-known Neapolitan painter Oskar Ricciardi (1864 Naples - 1935 ibidem) . He was popular among collectors for his neapolitan street and coast scenes and exhibited regularly in Naples, Palermo, Milan, Turin.
