Seascape with far view of Croatian Dubrovnik was executed by Austrian-Hungarian city and landscape painter Dezsoe (Desiderius) Fangh (Born 1876 Sopron - after 1926).
He painted landscapes and city views, especially from the Wachau, Salzburg and Carinthia, but also Hungarian and Croatian motifs (Holy Trinity column in Sopron, tempera; 1926 exhibited in Budapest, Nemzeti Szalon).
