Masterfully miniature on ivory depicting Austrian Emperor Ferdinand I ( 1793-1875). The miniature was mounted in 19th century in a fire gilt bronze jewelry box.
Inscription: stamp of bronze box producer.
Technique: miniature: gouache on ivory, box: fire gilt bronze.
Measurements: w (6,3 x 8,3 cm), box (7,7 x 9,5 cm).
