A young lady sitting at table and holding a small dog ( probably a pug) in the hand. This delightfully miniature was executed around 1800-1810 by an French miniature painter.

Provenance: Italian private estate.

Inscription: unsigned.

Technique: gouache on ivory, original period gilt bronze frame.

 Measurements: unframed diameter 2 3/4” (7 cm), framed w. 3 3/8” x h. 4 1/8” (8,5 x 10,2 cm).

Condition: very good.
