View of Zeller Lake in the Austrian Salzkammergut with the mount Kitzsenhorn in the background was executed by Viennese landscape painter Carl Raimund Lorenz (1871-1945).
Initially a student of R. Schäffer, he received training as a theater decoration painter under Kautsky and Rottonara. Member of the Albrecht Dürer Association.
From 1900 he devoted himself entirely to landscape painting. The Vienna Woods and the Alps were among his favorite motifs.
