View of Nice on the south French Riviera was executed in the middle of 19th century by listed French view and marine painter Domenico Trachel (1830 - Nice - 1897). He studied by his brother, landscape painter Ercole Trachel and worked in Nice. 5 paintings by him are in the Museum of Nice.
