A pair of large French still lifes: peaches, grapes and bottle of wine / plums and basket of currant. This two works were executed on the turn of 20th century by by good listed French painter Emile Godchaux (1860 - 1938). Painter of genre scenes, landscapes, waterscapes, marines, flowers, still lifes . He sold his paintings on the public place, and sometimes in Lotteries. He is related to Alfred Godchaux, who painted the same kind of subjects. He is also related to Roger Godchaux, the wildlife sculptor. He produced essentially lively landscapes from the Normandie seaside, mountains, Marines, and Flowers.
