Very nice impressionistic street scene in Paris with numerous figures and cars was executed by Czech painter Oscar Matysek ca.1920s. Oscar , the brother of more famous Czech painter Petr P. Matysek, worked in Brno, Vienna and together with brother travelled and lived in Paris in the 1920s.

Inscription: signed Matysek and dated (19)05, lower right

Technique: gouache on cardboard .mated and framed

Measurements: image w 13 1/3" x h 12" (34 x 30.5 cm), framed w 18 1/2" x h 17" (47 x 43 cm)

Condition: in good condition, two insignificant creases of paper (at the left edge, ca.1 1/2")
