Masterfully still life with grapes, pumpkin, peaches and plums was executed by renowed and high listed Belgian flower painter of 19th century Henri Robbe (1807 Courtrai - 1899 Brussels). Painter of flowers and fruit. After having tauht music in Paris for many years, he joined his brother Louis Robbe in Brussels in 1840. From then on, he painted and took part each year in the Brussels Exhibitions and was very succesful. He also exhibited in Paris, London and Vienna. FRepresented in the Museums in Ghent, Courtrai, Brussels and Mons.
