Busy scene in a Dutch port was executed around 1850-1860s by good listed Dutch marine painter Johan Adolph Rust (1828 - Amsterdam - 1915). He studied by his uncle C. Springer and worked in Amsterdam. His marine works are situated in Rijksmuseum / Amsterdam, museums of Courtrai, Monreal, Brussels and Teyler (Haarlem).
