A large impressionistic coast landscape in sunset, attributed to renowned austrian lanscape and portrait artist Eduard Kasparides (1858 - 1926).
1876-1884 the artist studied at the Vienna Academy and under the tutelage of J.M.Trenkwald. Kasparides undertook study travels to Italy, Germany, Sweden and Russia. He was a member of the Artists Society and Hagenbund (1900-1905), where he frequent exhibited his works. From 1899 Kasparides principally painted impressionistic landscapes, what proves also the offered painting. He was awarded numeorous international prizes and medailes and in 1932 became a professor of Vienna Artists Unit.
