" La Famiglia di Napoleone" depicts all members of the Napoleon family, this extreme rare work by unknown Italian portrait painter was executed in one-color watercolour ( grisaille) in the early 19th century.

Inscription: unsigned, numbered and titled with names of the Napoleon family members ( see photos).

Technique: one-color watercolor ( grisaille) on paper, original Empire gold-plated frame.. Original period frame.

Measurements: visiable image w. 39 1/3" x h 27 1/2" (35 x 48,5 cm), framed and matted w 45 1/4" x h 33 2/3 " (56,5 x 72 cm) .

Condition: in quite good condition, the sheet is slightly wavy below the images, there are slightly, minimal foxing stains in the upper right corner..
