Street scene in front of the Peace monument in Munich was executed in 1924 by Paul Stollreither (1886 - 1973), listed German painter who mainly made still lifes and portraits. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich (with Franz von Stuck and Angelo Jank). after study he undertook trips to Germany, Holland, Sweden and Switzerland, later he was active in the USA. Stoll REITHER was staff of the magazine "Jugend" ( in English: The youth).
