This portrait of a hunter with his dachshund was created by good-listed Austrian portrait and genre artist Julius Josef Pollak (1845-1920). He studied in Vienna Academy under Eduard von Egerth. In 1872 he became a member of Vienna Artists Unit and frequently exhibited his works there.
