Monumental mountain landscape with waterfall (somewhere in Bavaria, Switzerland or Tirol) was executed by good listed German landscape painter Theodor Wilhelm Nocken (1830 Duesseldorf - 1905 ).For his mountain and Alpine lake landscapes he used motives from his travel to Swiss Alps, Bavaria, Austrian Salzkammergut . The artist exhibited at the Berlin academical exhibitions since 1848, his works situated in museum of Altenburg and collection of Grand Duke of Baden-Baden
