Great mountain landscape in Tirolian or south Bavarian Alps was executed in 1871 by Munich landscape painter Joseph Winkler (1839 Traunstein - 1877 Munich). Pupil of August Erzlebens at he Munich Academy. Travelled in 1869 to Italy and Malta. Favorite motives - high mountain landscapes from Bavaria, Tyrol and Pinzgau/ Salzburg.
Works are in the Museum New Pinakotek, Munich.
