This coastal landscape was created in 19th century, signed Hasch and was attributed to well known Austrian landscape painter Carl Hasch (1834 - 1897). He was born in Vienna. After graduating from the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts made a long trip to Northern Italy, Switzerland and Belgium, where he created a large series of landscape compositions. One of the imported species has been successfully presented at the World Exhibition in Vienna (1873). In 1872 he played for the Vienna Museum of Natural History monumental canvas depicting the Postojna Cave, which is reproduced for many years in the Austrian geography textbooks. Was an active exhibition activities, carried out government orders, the artist´s landscapes have been repeatedly awarded prizes and medals. He was famous as a master paintings with alpine views. One of the brightest representatives of late Romanticism. The works are stored in the City History Museum in Vienna, Hamburg Kunsthalle, and many other museums and private collections in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
