A pair of French seascapes with fishing boats was executed by famous French marine painter Henriette Herminie Gudin ( (1825 - after 1873), the dauther and pupil of her father, marine painter Baron Theodor Gudin (1802 -1880). Henriette Gudin worked in Paris, later in Belgium, sent her marine works to Salon de Paris from 1849 to 1853. her paintings situated in museums Blois, Calvet (Avignon) and Nantes.

Technique: each: oil on wood. Original period partly gold-plated frames.
