Romantic Danube landscape was created in 1870 by good-listed Austrian painter Anton Bayer or Beyer (1805 Bohemia- after 1884 Vienna). He travelled to all Austrian provinces, among them in Tirol (Inntal), Upper Austria (Linz, Spital/Pyrn) and since 1858 settled in Reindorf by Vienna.
