Colourfully winter folk scene with wedding slegh ride was executed c. 1900 by popular Austrian horse and genre painter Gustav Prucha (1875 - Vienna -1952). He studied by J.E.Hörwarter in Vienna and in the Plaque Art Academy. He traveled to Hungary, Croatia and other east-european states, from where he used motifs for his folk scenes. His horse sledge, market and wedding paintings broken him European glory.
