Both works were executed by Austrian painter, graphic artist and illustrator Ernst Payer ( Eisenerz 1862 - 1937 Vienna). After graduating from middle school in Graz visiting the Styrian Province Art school of H.v.Königsbrunn, 1880-1890 painting studies at the Vienna Academy, under others with M.Trenkwald (1880-1882 guest student) .1896 member of the Wiener Künstlerhaus, 1900-1905 founding member of the Hagenbund, then return to the Wiener Künstlerhaus. Until about 1904 illustrations for the magazine "Die Zeit" and creator of cartoons for the humorous magazine "Der liebe Augustin". Study trips through Dalmatia, Italy and Hungary. Works u.a. Albertina, WienMuseum, Jonanneum Graz. Honors / Prizes: 1884 Gsellhofer Fellowship (Academy); 1917 award of the professorship.
