Surrealistic - Symbolistic composition (without title) is one of two works (for another one see previous item no.5219) by Polish painter Zbigniew Wozniak (born 1952 in Wroclaw). He is an acclaimed painter and graphic artist, a graduate of the State Higher School of Fine Arts (now Academy of Fine Arts) in Wroc³aw, Faculty of Glass and Ceramics Design.
He is one of the most valued creators of caricature and satirical drawing in Poland. He made his debut in 1976 in the carousel bi-weekly magazine "Carousel". He also cooperated with other magazines in the country, such as "Polityka", "¯ycie Literackie" and "Szpilki", as well as abroad: "Libération", "Lire", "Pardon". Winner of the "Golden Pin ´86". He deals with painting, graphics and designing of artistic glass. He had about 40 individual exhibitions in Poland and abroad - in Japan, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Canada, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Turkey, Germany, Great Britain and Belgium. Winner of over twenty competitions, including the "Szpilki" monthly in 1979 and 1987 (Z³ota Szpilka). Works in museum and private collections in Poland and in the world.
