Lovely genre scene was executed in the 1900s by an outstanding Czech painter Jan Skramlik (1860-1936). He studied at the Prague Academy (1976-1878) and later in Munich under the tutelage of W.Lindenschmit. He went than to Paris, where he worked together with famous Czech painter V.Brozik, he undertook study travels to Germany, England and Italy. Skramlik was acknowledged for his genre and historical paintings, frequently exhibited in Prague.
