Colourful still life with roses was created in the second half of 19 century by well-known French still life and genre artist Eugene Henri Cauchois (1850 Rouen - 1911 Paris). He was the student of Duboc, Cabanel and Quost, exhibited his flower and genre works since 1874 in the Salon. Cauchois awarded with different impotrant prizes . His works situated in the many museums in France and around the world (Rouen, Louviers, Rio de Janeiro, Chatellerault, Perpignan).
