High quality miniature on porcelain by one of the best Czech miniaturist and porcelain painters Johann Zacharias Quast.Johann (Jan) Zacharias Quast was born in 1814 in Karlsbad (now Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic) and died in 1891 in Pisek. He was a famous miniaturist and arts and crafts artist (glass and porcelain paintings). He studied under his father Conrad Ferdinand Quast and later worked of the porcelain manufactory in Lenora.
