A set of 3 very fine French portrait miniatures on ivory : officier and probably his daughters, miniatures were executed ca. 1810 and due to the manner, the hair and dress style is close to the miniatures of well-known Parisian miniaturist Joseph Boze (1745 - 1826).

Inscription: unsigned

Technique: each - gouache on ivory, internal gilt bronze round frames mounded in external carved wood frames.; all of original period.

Measurements: diameter of round image 2 3/8" (6 cm), framed w 4 1/4" x h 5 1/3" (10,7 x 13,5 cm).

Condition: miniatures and frames are in very good condition.
