French landscape in the style of the Barbisone School was executed by good listed French painter Charles-Felix-Eduard Deshayes (1831 Toulon / Var - after 1895).
Pupil of Bernard Jacques Sénéquier in Toulon and of François-Louis Français in Paris. Excluding Landscapes in the style of his teacher Français, D. also painted a large number of Marines and Still Life. Français, since 1860 almost every year in Cernay, has taken him with. In 1872, D. was even resident in Cernay for some time (in the Salon cataloque 1872). Otherwise, he lived with constantly changing addresses in Paris.
