Impressionistic Venezian view wasexecuted in 1924 by famous Hungarian landscape and cityscape modernist painter and graphic artist SÁNDOR JÓZSEF (GYÖMRÕ, 1887 - 1936 BUDAPEST). He signed his works with: "GY., (GYÖMRÕI ) SÁNDOR JÓZSEF" , first two liters due to his place of birth.He continued his studies of art in Munich in the first decade of the 20th century, paritcipated in the exhibitions since 1910, he established himself landscape painter. Exhibited in the national gallery and Ernst Museum (both Munich). Few of his works can be found in the National Gallery in Budapest.
