Original design (gouache on paper) for a theater stage depicts a oriental palace interior, titled by the artist Cairo and dated 1931. This work was executed by famous Austrian theater stage designer, landscape and cityscape painter FriedrichFrank(1871 Frankenmarkt, upper Austria - 1945 Werfen, Salzburg). Stud: ABK Vienna. There with Hermann Burghart, the holder of Studio for theatrical painting and decorative arts, which he later alone runs. 1914-18 war artist at the Italian Front. 1930/31 trip to Egypt and Palestine. 1935 facilities of the Pavilions at the World Exhibition in Paris. 1945 loss of work during an air raid . -Mainly Viennese views and architecture. Motifs (summer tuning in the Kärntner Strasse, Vienna). Scenery, such as the Parliament in Vienna or Ferdinand bridge (Vienna, GAL. Szaal). The Christmas market (Vienna, city GAL.) forest reminiscent of scenery painting.
