Very elegant antique late 19th century French Belle Epoque era sterling silver coffee/tea set, consists of coffee-pot, tea-pot and sugar-basin, made by both internationally known Parisian silversmiths Flamant & Fils and Adolphe Boulenger, both traditionally reserved for privileged elite. A large interlaced monogram of the noble owner on one side of the each piece, rich molded decorations everywhere. In very good antique condition, possibly a tiny dimple on the bottom of the sugar-basin, but no large dents, damage, breaks or repairs. The handle has the original heat spacers.
Inscription: innterlaced monogram of the owner on each piece; Marks: the Coffee-pot has on lid and body the French Minerva Hallmark, depicting the head of the goddess Minerva (silver content more than 90%, almost pure silver), on the bottom of body - the Makerīs mark for the Silversmith Flamant&Fils, active in Paris from 1880 till 1891, whose workshop was located at 140 rue du Temple in Paris; the Tea-pot has on lid and body the Minerva hallmark and the makerīs mark of Adolphe Boulenger (Paris 1860-1900, whose workshop was located at 4 Rue du Vert-Bois), on the body - the Minerva hallmark again and on the bottom of the body - the makerīs mark Adolphe Boulenger; the Sugar-basin has on lid and body the Minerva hallmark and on the bottom of the body - the makerīs mark of Paris Silversmith Fl mant&Fils.
Technique: silver, interior of the sugar-basin -gold-plated.
