Animalistic painting with pheasants in the nature was executed by well-renowned Scottisch animalist David Georg Steell ( 1856 - Edinburgh - 1930). He was the son of other famous painter Gourlay Steell (1819-1894) and recieved acknowledge especially for his dog works.
