Lovely portrait of a young lady with a pet dog ( self-portrait of the artist due to the back inscription) was executed by listed Austrian genre and still life painter Charlotte Hampel (1863 Vienna - 1945 Tolzenbach). Wife of famous painter Ferdinand Andri, she worked in Vienna and Munich and exhibited her works: Munich (Glaspalast 1873, 1888, 1890), Verlin (Acad. Exhibition 1886, international art exhibition 1891) and in Vienna ( Kunstlerhaus 1893,1894, Secession 1898). In the Cafe Luitpold Munich are her murals of the 4 seasons ( children groups ).
