Masterfully portrait of a young gentleman with a pipe was executed ca. in 1830 due to the Männer was attributed to Austrian portrait painter Leopold Fertbauer (1802 - Wien- 1875).
Leopold Fertbauer, Austrian painter, son of the great watchmaker Philipp Fertbauer. Studied 1816-1828 at the Academy of Fine Arts (first exhibition 1822), painted history pictures, solo and group portraits (works in the Historical Museum of the City of Vienna); Worked as a princely Liechtensteinscher Gallery-Directorate-adjunct.
