Genre scene from East European ( Russian, Polish or Ukrainian) folk life with wedding party in the winter was executed in the end of 19th century by listed Austrian horse and genre painter Eduard Goetzelmann (1830 Vienna - 1903 Vienna), who was popular at the time for his horse and genre folk scenes espessial from Austrian crown provinces and was a regular participant of Austrian and international art exhibitions.
