Antique typographical woodcut, executed in France ca. 1860 and depicts Russian Imperor Alexander II (1818 - 1881) and his family members: wife, Empress Maria Alexandrowna, Princess of Hessen (1824 -1880) and their son Alexander Alexandrowitch (1845 - 1894), futured Tsar Alexander III.
Inscription: French inscriptions under images from left to right: "L´Empereur Alexandre II, Le Prince Imperial, L´Imperatrice"
Technique: typographical woodcut on paper. Original period frame.
Measurements: unframed w 9 7/8" x h 13 1/3" (25 x 34 cm), framed w 11 1/4" x h 14 1/2" (28,5 x 37 cm).
