High quality horse painting from the Biedermeier epoch was executed in 1843 by good listed German landscape and genre artist Anton Victor Alexander Steinach (1819 Breslau, Silesia, now Poland - 1891 Uttwil, Switzerland). 1840-1842 he studied at the Academy in Dresden, then by Karl Fr. Schulz in Berlin (in this time was executed our work), since 1852 lived in Munich and since 1876 mostly on his property in Uttwil , canton Thurgau, Switzerland.
His works situate : Cathedral Gnesen (in Polish: Gniezdo); in the collection Herman Vogel, Vienna, City Maillinger Collection in Munich.
