Fine portrait miniature on ivory of a young noble woman was executed ca. in 1830s by listed French female miniature artist Mme (Madame) Riviere, who was pupil of Aubry, worked in Paris and exhibited her works in the Salon from 1831 to 1841.

Technique: gouache on ivory, original firegilt bronze matt and wood frame.

Condition: in quite good condition, no stains or cracks, profess. retouching left from the head. |
