Oil study to the propaganda painting " Lenin proclaims Soviet power " was executed in the late 1930s by listed Ukrainian painter , the represantative of Soviet Socialist Realism Gregory Minsky (born 1912 in Odessa).

Gregory Minsky was the classic of Soviet Ukrainian art, honoured presantative of Soviet Socialist Realism artist of Ukraine and member of the artist union of USSR, he studied in Odessa art school and Kiew Art institute since 1938, He volunteered for the front in WWII, returned after war and continued study.
