Masterfully still life from the Biedermeier epoch was executed in 1849 by French flower painter A. Bouchu. The artist represanted in the dictionary of painters of Lyon flower school.

Inscription: signed and dated 1849 lower right (dating is not visible under the frame).

Technique: oil on canvas. Luxuriousy original period gold-plated frame.

Measurements: unframed w 21 5/8" x h 17 3/4" (55 x 45 cm), framed w 29 3/4" x h 25 3/4" ( 75,5 x 65,5 cm).

Condition: in very good condition, oiginal canvas was relined by profess. restorer.
