French coast scene was executed by famous French marine painter Henriette Herminie Gudin ( born 1825), the dauther and pupil of her father, marine painter Baron Theodor Gudin (1802 -1880). Henriette Gudin worked in Paris, later in Belgium, sent her marine works to Salon de Paris from 1849 to 1853. her paintings situated in museums Blois, Calvet (Avignon) and Nantes.
