Portrait miniature of a young lady in white dress and transparent shawl was executed ca. in 1810 by very good listed Czech-Austrian miniature, genre and historical painter Johann Adamek (Adameck), born 1774 in Stary Benatka/Bohemia , died 1840 in Vienna. Son of the sculptor Frantisek Adamek, the artist studied since 1800 in the Viennese Academy , exhibited his works since 1814 in Troppau and since 1830 in Vienna (Albertina). He painted portrait miniatures, oil portraits, mythological and genre scenes. Works by him situated in the Albertina and in the Historical museum of Vienna.
