Masterfully portrait of a Italian(?) officer was executed ca. in 1820-1830s by unknown artist and due to the style of uniform and depicts South European (probably Italian) officer. Here is quotation of the expertise of well renown uniformist expert Mr. S. Lyulin, Moscow: " Most likely , it's one of the Italian states . Epaulettes very characteristic , and the band is in the " Austrian " style. And the type anthropologically - South European , probably Italian ..." .
