A pair of Rococo genre scenes was executed in 19th century by the follower of renowed French Rococo painter Jean-Antoine Watteau (1684 - 1721). With his f๊tes gallant he created at the beginning of the 18th century a new genre.

Technique: each painted in oval, each: oil on mahagony wood, original luxuriousy frames in Rococo style.
Measurements: unframed w 21" x h 25 3/4" (53,5 x 65,5 cm); framed w 27" x h 31 2/3" (68,5 x 80,5 cm).
Condition: paintings and frames are in very good condition. |
