This lake panoramic painting depicting (due to the old German inscription on the back of the stretcher) the Feringasee in Upper Bavaria. It was executed ca. in 1870s and it΄s subject matter, composition and shape show all criteria to be attributed to Bavarian landscape painter Michael Lueger, born 1804 (died 1883). His workes are exhibited in museums in Germany and in private collections.
